SCREEN ACTING EXPERIENCE
A rare, hands-on way to level up your on-camera work.
This isn’t a class. It’s a guided, half-day experience designed to help actors feel confident, capable, and at home on camera.
You’ll work through multiple takes, build real comfort in front of the lens, and gain a clearer understanding of what directors and editors actually need from you. The result is stronger trust in your presence, sharper choices, and the confidence to walk onto any set knowing you belong.
You’ll also see how your performance translates from set to screen—offering insight most actors don’t get until much later in their careers.

Reels, headshots, and self-tapes can only get you so far. The real dividing line for actors—especially on camera—is believability.
The moment we sense effort, performance, or self-conscious “acting,” the spell breaks.
But when you’re fully present—thinking, feeling, and responding as the character—the audience comes with you. That level of commitment isn’t a reward you earn later. It’s the baseline requirement for serious work.
Our training is designed to help actors cross that threshold sooner:

Headshots may not be the whole game anymore—but they’re still your first move. A great headshot is often the only chance you get to be seen, and it needs to do real work: look like you now, feel unmistakably you, and clearly communicate the type of roles you’re meant to play. One strong, iconic image can open the door to everything that follows.

AUDITIONS
A “working actor” is really an actor who’s auditioning. And once your headshot and reel start opening doors, self-tapes become the job. In today’s casting world, especially here, phones, bedsheets, and ring lights won’t cut it. GOTO GOTO Studio delivers self-tapes that feel like you’re already in the show—complete with built-in coaching, professional readers when needed, and polished color grading. We help you shift from audition mode to performance mode (or step back if you’re already there), so you send in work that stands out for the right reasons.
A MESSAGE from the OWNER
It still feels strange to say something like this, but it’s true: I’ve been in the entertainment business for decades.
But it all started for me in a middle school A/V club and on a high school stage right here in Charlottesville.
Since then, I’ve worked on both coasts and have worn a lot of hats: actor, host, writer, editor, cinematographer, colorist, photographer, graphic designer, web designer, producer, director, and – of course – customer service rep.
I received my degree in film from Emerson College (where I also interned at MARVEL Studios in 2004, but I can’t take ALL the credit for their subsequent success).
I’m a proud member of both SAG-AFTRA and the prestigious Antaeus Theatre Company in L.A.
I’m also the founder (and “Arch-Villein”) of Queen Charlotte’s Villeins, Charlottesville’s only Shakespeare troupe.
I love stories, storytelling, and storytellers.
That’s why, in 2023, I founded GOTO GOTO Studio with long-time friend and former fellow high school theatre nerd, Laura. We reconnected over Shakespeare during the pandemic, and soon we were producing our own material for stage and screen.
Along the way, we noticed something…
There’s incredible talent here in Virginia — actors with the potential to compete at a high level — but there’s no ONE place to get what they need to get started: headshots, self-tapes, demo reels, guidance.
Most people have to cobble together those pieces from from all over the place. That’s how it was for me.
So I made GOTO GOTO Studio into the resource I wish I had when I was starting out — a one-stop shop, run by someone with legitimate insight into the industry.
We help actors launch strong, look professional, and position their unique brand for the people who are already in the market for it.
There’s no guaranteed path to success — but opportunity favors the prepared.
